We relocated to our current premises in 2005 after becoming a Company Limited by Guarantee in 2003 and a Registered Charity in 2004. Our team comprises 15 qualified counsellors and 7 receptionists, all operating on a voluntary basis, offering up to 45 weekly appointments. Our counsellors utilise a Person Centred/Integrative approach, treating clients with dignity and respect while addressing diverse mental health challenges. With 99% of clients reporting improved daily life management and an average satisfaction rating of 9.8/10, we maintain an open-access policy welcoming self-referrals and professional referrals.Remote sessions via Zoom or telephone are available outside standard office hours by mutual agreement. Our stairlift-equipped premises ensure accessibility, and we collaborate with local universities to provide training placements for counselling students. As a non-profit organisation, we operate under strict confidentiality protocols and adhere to British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy guidelines. Counselling Sessions

Each 50-minute session costs 20, with flexible daytime and evening appointments available across five weekly sessions.
Remote Counselling
Virtual counselling via Zoom or telephone for clients unable to attend in person. Sessions maintain the same 20 rate with flexible scheduling outside standard office hours. Mutual agreement between counsellor and client determines session timing and platform.
Placement Opportunities
Limited counselling placements for university students pursuing diplomas or degrees. Opportunities available annually with structured support for trainees working towards BACP accreditation. Applications accepted August-October each year.
