I work with children as young as 5 years old. In my experience, the earlier a problem is faced the easier it is to avoid longer term difficulties. At 8:16 I work with young people up to 18 years of age. Young people often appreciate having a space where they can talk to somebody not connected to their situation. At 8:16 I offer Online Counselling for secondary aged young people who, for whatever reason, are not able to come along to sessions face to face.
I offer a range of therapeutic services from individual counselling to group work for both local primary and secondary schools. Everyone needs a bit of extra help at some time or other. Children and young people come to 8:16 for a range of issues. These can include bereavement, family difficulties, self harm, behavioural problems, self-esteem and a range of traumas.
No problem is too big or too small and if I feel that I can't help you, I will put you in touch with someone who can. We will start off the session with yourself and your child and myself together.
