Business Details
We are a private therapy practice based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, dedicated to providing confidential counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples. Our journey began with a solid academic foundation, having studied with the Open University from 1995 to 2001 to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Applied Social Sciences, alongside a Diploma in Applied Social Sciences. We further enhanced our expertise with a Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Developmental Psychology from the Open University, followed by rigorous training in counselling and psychotherapy at The Institute of Counselling, Glasgow, between 2001 and 2004. In 2005, we achieved Accreditation as a Domestic Abuse Practitioner, and we continued our professional development with a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Institute of Counselling in 2007. Our commitment to staying current is evidenced by a Certificate of Continuing Professional Development in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the University of Paisley.
We specialise in personal relationships and cognitive behavioural therapy, though our work extends to personality typing and life coaching skills to address a wide array of client needs. As a CCC Registered Counsellor and a member of both the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and the British Psychological Society, we adhere strictly to a professional code of ethics. Our experience includes eight years as a volunteer for National Victim Support, where we helped victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault, enriching our practical understanding of trauma. We offer flexible session times, including daytime and evening appointments from Monday to Friday, as well as Saturday mornings by arrangement. Our sessions are available face-to-face, by telephone, or online, ensuring accessibility for all clients. We are dedicated to helping individuals break free from unwanted behaviours, thoughts, and worries, guiding them toward new ways of moving forward with confidence and clarity.
