We employ four qualified staff counsellors, supported by a team of associate professionals registered with bodies such as BACP and UKCP, alongside three part-time administrative staff. Our services cater to adults aged 18+, addressing issues including anxiety, bereavement, depression, and relationship challenges. All counsellors undergo ongoing clinical supervision to maintain professional standards. As a registered charity (No. 1064132), we balance client contributions with donations to ensure affordability, offering reduced rates for those with household incomes below 20,000.Our 1996 relocation to Argyll Street expanded our capacity to serve the community, maintaining a non-judgmental space for clients of all faiths or none. We operate under six trustees' governance, adhering to strict safeguarding policies and GDPR compliance. Our evening session limitations and 12-week wait period for counselling commencement reflect our resource constraints while prioritizing quality care.

How much do sessions cost?
Our minimum contribution is £20 per session, adjusted by household income. Those earning under £20,000 may qualify for reduced rates of £10-£15 per session when funds are available.
How do I register for counselling?
Complete our online registration form and pay the non-refundable £20 (individual) or £25 (couple) fee. After payment, schedule your free initial assessment session.
Are your counsellors qualified?
All counsellors are registered with accredited bodies like BACP or in training with formal supervision. Qualified staff have minimum Diploma Level 4 qualifications and ongoing professional development.
